Dubai is gearing up for the Burj2Burj Half Marathon, set to take place on Sunday, February 9, 2025. To ensure the safety of participants and minimize traffic disruptions, several road closures have been planned. The race will commence at 6:00 AM from Burj Khalifa in Downtown Dubai and conclude at Burj Al Arab in Jumeirah, covering a 21.1 km route.
Scheduled Road Closures:

2:30 AM - 6:30 AM: Partial closure of Al Mustaqbal Street towards Lower Financial Centre Street (southbound).

5:30 AM - 7:30 AM: Closure of Lower Financial Centre Street from Al Mustaqbal Street to Al Wasl Road (westbound).

5:30 AM - 7:30 AM: Closure of Al Wasl Road to 2nd December Street (northbound).

5:30 AM - 8:00 AM: Closure of 2nd December Street to Jumeirah Road (eastbound).

5:30 AM - 9:30 AM: Closure of Jumeirah Road to Jumeirah Beach Road (southbound).

5:30 AM - 9:30 AM: Closure of Jumeirah Beach Road to Al Darmeet Street in both directions.

Motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and consider alternative routes during these times. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will manage the closures and ensure timely reopening of the affected roads.
