Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced new parking and Salik toll gate timings for Ramadan 2025 to accommodate residents and visitors during the holy month.
During Ramadan, public parking in Dubai will be free during key Iftar hours. The revised paid parking schedule is as follows:
- Morning Session: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Evening Session: 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Free Parking Hours: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Iftar period)
- Overnight Free Parking: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Multi-storey parking facilities, however, will continue to charge fees around the clock.
Adjusted Salik Toll Gate Timings
Dubai’s Salik toll system will also have revised timings during Ramadan to ensure smoother traffic flow and ease commuting for those observing fasting. The updated Salik toll schedule is as follows:
-
Monday to Saturday:
- 2:00 AM – 7:00 AM: No toll charges
- 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM: AED 4 per crossing
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM: AED 6 per crossing
- 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM: AED 4 per crossing
-
Sundays:
- 2:00 AM – 7:00 AM: No toll charges
- 7:00 AM – 2:00 AM (next day): AED 4 per crossing
These changes aim to ease congestion and support those commuting for Iftar, Taraweeh prayers, and other Ramadan activities.
Dubai’s Ramadan Transport Initiatives
Alongside these adjustments, Dubai’s public transport services, including the metro, buses, and taxis, will also have extended operating hours during Ramadan. Authorities encourage residents to stay updated with RTA announcements and plan their journeys accordingly.
With these measures in place, Dubai continues its commitment to making the holy month convenient for all residents and visitors.
