Authorities have arrested one of the two suspects involved in the tragic shooting of North Texas rapper G$ Lil Ronnie and his 5-year-old daughter, R’mani Sibley, who were gunned down at a car wash earlier this week. The second suspect remains at large as police intensify their search.
Arrest Made in Double Homicide
On March 6, 2025, Forest Hill Police Chief David Hernandez announced the arrest of 24-year-old Adonis Robinson in Livingston, Texas. Robinson is one of the two individuals suspected of carrying out the fatal shooting of rapper Ronnie Sibley, known professionally as G$ Lil Ronnie, and his daughter on March 3.
The second suspect, 21-year-old Jakobe Russell, is still on the run and is considered armed and dangerous. Authorities have urged the public to come forward with any information that could lead to his capture.
"We are committed to bringing justice to this grieving family and ensuring that both suspects are held accountable," Hernandez stated.
Details of the Fatal Shooting
The shooting occurred just before 11 a.m. at Slappy’s Car Wash in Forest Hill, a suburb of Fort Worth. According to surveillance footage, two armed individuals exited a white four-door Kia, approached the parked vehicle occupied by Sibley and his daughter, and opened fire.
Both victims were hit multiple times. Despite life-saving efforts from first responders, they were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not yet disclosed a motive for the attack, but investigators believe it was a targeted shooting.

The Forest Hill Police Department, assisted by the Texas Rangers and U.S. Marshals Service, is continuing its investigation. Authorities are actively searching for Jakobe Russell, who is still at large.
